McGill Microwave Systems Ltd exclusively distributes Times Microwave Systems products in the UK, Sweden and Turkey; with its DNA coming from a close and successful long-term partnership with Times Microwave Systems USA – spanning almost 30 years. Billy McGill, former Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Times Microwave Systems USA, looked after Times Microwave business interests throughout Europe, The Middle East, the Pacific Rim, Africa and South America for 25 years.
On retiring from TMS in 2014, Billy formed his own company: Times Microwave Systems International Ltd. TMSI ultimately continued to look after much of TMS business interests Internationally. In 2019, a strategic decision was taken to secure the company’s future with the addition of Billy’s three sons – who are all qualified Engineers – when they decided to join the business. To reflect this change and to draw attention to the unique family nature of the company, it was decided to change the company name to McGill Microwave Systems Ltd. The new company is now owned and managed by the brothers – Ross, Ryan and Liam – with Billy’s ongoing background support and expertise.
