LMR-100A-PVC-W
LMR-100A-PVC-W cable, Manufactured by Times Microwave systems is designed for low loss general-purpose applications and is more flexible than the Fire Retardant, polyethylene jacketed LMR-100A-FR. This cable is a white-jacketed version of LMR-100A-PVC for marine and other applications where color compatibility is desired.

How is the LMR-100A-PVC low loss figures achieved?
This is achieved due to the cable construction specifications. The centre conductor uses a high conductivity, Bare copper clad covered aluminium centre conductor material. The dielectric is nitrogen injected, foamed, closed cell, Polyethylene which helps achieve 66% Velocity of Propagation. The Dielectric has a Aluminium foil outer conductor, which is chemically bonded on to it. Due to the cable construction, The attenuation is significantly lower as compared to single shielded coaxial cables.
