LMR-600-UF Coaxial cable is and extremely popular product within the Times Microwave LMR coaxial cable range. The LMR range is recognised globally as the industry standard ultra low loss, flexible, low cost, lightweight, DC – 6GHz coaxial cable solution for many RF applications. This is also backed up by the best warranty and technical support in the business.
The LMR-600-UF cable was created as a higher flexibility alternative to the LMR-600 coaxial cable.
Why choose LMR-600-UF?
LMR-600-UF has unsurpassed flexibility and ultra low attenuation. The LMR-600-UF cable has loss figures comparable to the extremely rigid corrugated coaxial cables however manages to achieve surpassed flexibility, making the cable much easier to install. Installing the connectors on the LMR-600 cable versus corrugated copper cables in much quicker and simpler. The LMR-600-UF is even more flexible than the LMR-600 cable due to it using a stranded centre conductor and rubber outer jacket.
How is the LMR-600-UF low loss figures achieved?
This is achieved due to the cable construction specifications. The centre conductor uses a high conductivity, stranded bare copper material. The dielectric is nitrogen injected, foamed, closed cell, Polyethylene which helps achieve 87% Velocity of Propagation. The Dielectric has an Aluminium foil outer conductor, which is chemically bonded on to it. Due to the cable construction, The attenuation is significantly lower as compared to single shielded coaxial cables: RF shielding of LMR-600 is > 90 db.
All standard LMR coaxial cable comes with a TPE rubber jacker. This helps to ensure the cable is extremely flexible, which makes the cable ideal for tighter installs.
Frequency Operating Band
LMR-600-UF is designed to operate excellent from DC – 6GHz. For any frequency band at VHF and above LMR is the obvious choice.
