Description
RG58 Cable Assembly – Create Your Own
The RG58 Cable Assembly is a Premium Shielded, Indoor/Outdoor, Low Loss, 50 Ohm & Rugged design
This RG58 Cable Assembly comes as standard with high performance connectors pre-installed, weatherproofed and is tested for insertion loss and VSWR.
The Premium Shielded RG58 Cable Assembly employs an additional shield by using and aluminium tape wrap around the dielectric, this offers better shielding than typical RG58.
Additionally, the outer braid is tinned copper, rather than the traditional bare copper. This contributes to stable loss over a prolonged period of time as the cable material is less affected by moisture than bare copper.
The mechanical properties of the cable such as the solid PE dielectric provides superior crush resistance and therefore is well suited for tactical applications.
The PVC Jacket contributes to excellent flexibility.
There are a wide variety of connectors available for this cable, including all common interface types.
This flexible 50 Ohm coax cable with PVC jacket is rated for 3 GHz maximum operating frequency.
